I'd like SLI integrated really, but that doesn't really matter.

Update: When I say cheap I mean 1500 and under, because I know SLI is not necessarily "cheap." In Maximum PC they gave a great tutorial on a $1500 gaming PC that lacked a sound card, modem, etc. I was just looking for something to compete with the one in said article.

Hello,

Well.....unless its a barebones I don't think there is a "good" tutorial on the web. Usually people mix and match parts. In your case, I wouldn't get your hopes up for a "cheap" gaming pc. Gaming pcs have extreme parts/hardware. It would cost anywhere from 1000 to 5000 dollars to build a "good" gaming pc.

Hope that helps!!

PS: If you plan to just play games upgrade a graphics card on a manufactured pc.

Maximum PC may have given a great tutorial, but, any gaming puter without a sound card, etc, is NOT even a gaming puter, in my opinion..
without sound, why even play a game?
