The longest that I did in the military was just over 4 minutes. You can do this by making yourself hyperventilate, which over enriches your blood with oxygen.

But, you really should not do this, as you can experience what is called shallow water blackout. You won't realize you are running out of oxygen, as your body gets used to you not breathing. You won't get that "running out of air" feeling, and you will pass out.

two maybe three minutes with a snorkle even longer i inhale the air in the snorkle after about two and a half minutes but I found that the clorine in the jacuzzi wrecks the rubber on my mask so I now just set her up on the edge of the pool.

I tried it and managed to stay under water for approximately 10 hours and 62 minuates. Yes i know i am pretty amazing.
