Where was the outrage against this brutal dictator when he was gassing the Kurds and Iranians? Wasnt that when about the time of that famous meeting with Rumsfeld. I'd bet that George Bush Sr, invited Saddam to invade Kuwaitt, then pulled the old CIA double- cross.

Your wrong meathead - He repelled the Kurdish uprising ( Which Bush Sr encouraged , then stood back as they got slaughtered . Even though we were still flying over their airspace)

Don't try to confuse Repubs with the facts.

We put Saddam in office, and supported him in every step he took.

When he gassed the Kurds, the US provided aerial recon to aim the attacks.

Actually, when Saddam was about to invade Kuwait, which was completely legit as Kuwait was stealing Iraqi oil, the US ambassador, April Glaspie, told Saddam that the US govt had no opinion on any military action he might take. Then, of course, he became our worst nightmare.

It was all a set up.

Money I have a photo of Bush and Hussein drinking beer and laughing. Going by hair and skin I would say it is mid to late 70's. They look very friendly. A nation knows what the media tells them.Public information is very controlled. As to the rest, I cannot say cos I don't know. But I do know that Hussein was once a friend of the Bush clan, as was the Shah of Iran.

Personally I only began to hear of the atrocities when I became involved with a Kurd from an old Iraqi family.

As with many Illuminati based activities, we won't know for some time yet.

America played with bin Laden.
Now America calls him Most wanted man on the planet.

America played with Hussein.
Now they finish the mess Hussein began, destabilizing the people. While making great $$ on arms of course.

America, like every other country, plays a shell game with the citizens of the world.

Now you have got it! But the cover up is because we needed him to defeat the Iranians and to be a threat to the Saudis and the Kuwaitis? eh? But now that we have been sold out to the Chinese what deal do you think we will have to go to war with them about when they break ties? Lie Lie lie lie, and keep lying that is all those double dealing creeps do anyway with our lives?
Bush promised some of the oil fields in Kuwait to help us in Iran. And he broke the deal! the Kuwaitis then with the Saudis paid Bush Sr. America front page of every newspaper "11 million Dollars given to Bush to attack Saddam in Kuwait!" Then the Persian Gulf War started, and Saddam blew up what he was promised! Then we pulled out! Remember the other deal before that in South America? Ollie North trials, Iran/Contra, the covert activities? www.history.com Reagan was in then with VP Bush eh? Wonder why we have problems in Venezuela? Not that they re right, but when you deal with the devil you must pay his due! And they are all devils in this situation! Hard to tell who wheres the white hat anymore!

At that time the only outrage came from liberals while Regan's administration and CIA were making the back-yard deals that gave Saddam the biological weapon technology he used to gas the Kurds. Basically, as long as Saddam was lobbing bombs at Iran, they could not have cared less what he did to his own countrymen.

Yes, the USA is quite famous for supporting the enemy of their enemy by supplying weapons, intelligence, etc. Saddam got weapons from the USA and purchased weapons from US companies.

What nationality do you think the companies are that make the most biological and chemical weapons? They are all developed countries.

The US supported Iraq's invasion of Iran because they felt it was in their interest and they turned a blind eye to the atrocities.

Other countries have done this throughout time and it will continue unfortunately.

Oh yes, very much true. We not only encouraged him but gave him weapons and tools to use.

Names like Rumsfeld, Bush, Cheney, and Ashcroft come up quite a bit when researching this. Over 30 years worth.

A good resource I recommend. I get nothing for recommending it but do so because it makes the picture crystal clear.

YES if you watch old news reels of him during the Clinton administration we were supplying him with his weapons ....I've come to a whacked out conclusion that the government will manipulate any country it wants for it own gratification.....and don't get me wrong i love America and everything about it even if they (the government) needs to blow up a couple of buildings and fake a plane flying into the pentagon (it was a missile fired off of a plane) BECAUSE WHY..... I LOVE BASEBALL AND MY TRUCK LOVES GAS

The reason there was no outrage was because we were backing Saddam in his war against Iran.
Hey GMoney, why don't you research your answers before shooting off your big mouth!

Saddam gassed the Kurds after he was pushed out of Kuwait. No he was no ally of ours at the time.

Remember, he went to war with Iran, and Iran weren't exactly nice to us back then....

You forget Saddam's megalomania. When the Iran-Iraq war was drawing to the end, one of his then advisors suggested he step down for a while to speed up the peace process. The guy's body was delivered, in parts, the next day to his wife.

The CIA got into bed with Saddam without really knowing all about him.
