After I close my internet browser and I try to open up a new one, it won't open up. I have to restart my computer. This a new computer, I had it for a little over a month.
What's wrong with it?

I can only advise that you re download the browser that you are using:
http://www.firefox.com - FireFox v.2
http://www.microsoft.com - IE 6 / 7
it sound like a file problem which should be resolved with a new download.

You could have a virus. If you have done a complete virus scan, try the following. This is trouble shooting, step by step.
Clean out the temporary Internet files and cookies.
Then reboot.
Go to windows update and get any patches or updates you don't have.
If it still doesn't work, open the task manager (right click on the start bar) and check the process list to see if IEXPLORE is still running, even after you closed it. If it is, stop the process by right clicking on it and selecting end process. You will get a warning but you can ignore.
Then, check the event log, this can be found under Start, administrative tools, and see if there are any events that list IE as the source of the errors. If there are, ask again with a description of the error.
