Iraq, of course.

Why do you think the corporate media, especially Fox, is spending more time on Smith than Bush's disaster?

Absurd but hardly surprising. For reasons which I will never understand, most people seem to think that anybody famous must be important. The reason for the fame doesn't seem to matter. Bill O'Reilly got some hate email for saying the deaths of soldiers in Iraq was more important than the death of Anna Nicole. Humans are SO illogical!

Bush War In Iraq

The way the news has been lately it is which Democrat is announcing their candidacy next. The election is like 19 months away and how many have already thrown their hat in the ring?

I agree though. The ravenous dog style of reporting on the Anna Nichole story is embarrassing to me as an American. No wonder those in other countries hold us in low esteem.

Just another thing to steer our attention away from the mess we call Iraq. It is funny that when Anna was alive, everybody and their mother had nothing but bad things to say about her and she was the butt end of every joke, but now she somehow became Queen Anna. How did that even happen?

Iraq is more important, but when the war's been going on for a few years, it's not always the talk of the town anymore. More recent things get more attention, but it's not like everybody's forgotten about the war.

first , unless you have never done anything wrong not now or in the future, don't call and label people ; you only see what you want to see; don't judge until you walk one day in the shoes of someone else; it is a low blow to name call someone who is deceased and can't defend their name; now for Iraq, talking hasn't done anything for all these years to date; are you are out protesting? writing letters, throwing yourself on the stairs of the legislature ?? We elected democrats in the hopes of some saving grace , some change and still now ; what is talking going to do ; it has been on every channel , every day , morning , noon and night and nothing has changed until the system changes; until every voter puts pressure on its representatives that this status quo is unacceptable and to date , I don't think that is going to change; in this country , we are only fed what the media wants to feed us. Why is it no matter what the topic , each and every news station carries the exact same stories , very little variance ; how does that happen in a world with so many differences but every channel, turn them is the same? In other countries , you get world news, there is a world out there. Here, we get the same loop of garbage over and over; In war, if you want to win , you have to not tie the hands of our military, this is another Vietnam, tie the hands, watch our soldiers die and politicians are out of touch with reality of the trenches, car bombs that threaten our fellow Americans. Get mad at that!
