There's no real hard or fast rule. However, if you are interested in a joint JD/MBA, you should pick a business related major. There's a decent amount of math involved for business, while you really don't need any math at all to law. So, you should concentrate your undergrad career into making sure you can get into business school since they're looking more carefully for specific goals and what classes you take.

For a law degree you can basically get any undergraduate degree, though most people usually lean towards poli sci and pysc. However since you are interested in business/corporate law (i'm assuming thats your interest because of JD/MBA), recommend you decide what area of business facinates you the most and get your undergrad degree in that area.
