I know there's NCAA division 1, 2, and 3, but I need to know the difference between intercollegiate, intramural, and club athletics, mainly for hockey. thanks.

Club sports are oganized but not as competitive as Intercollegiate, a club sport will have to find it's own oppentes and Refs. Where as Intercollegiate the Refs, Uniforms, the field everything is provided for you. Intramural is a way for all the kids who aren't partcipating in Collegiate sport to get out and play sports this is usually cost the student 50$ and they need to get thier own uniforms there isn't a coach.

Collegiate has Coach, and the team is provided with everything from Grass to play on to a workout facility to train in.

Club has a Coach pay for uniform, has to find thier own grass and refs to pay with and must find thier own competition.

Intramural no coach get your own uniform pay to play and is usually run by the school.

Hope that helps.
