i just ended my period like 2 weeks ago and i think i am about to start it again. that would be the second one in a month. i don't want it again my friend is supposed to come to my house and i don't wanna be on it when shes here. is it even possiable to have 2 periods in one month.

You don't say how old you are but irregular periods are common for some people and even for those that are like clock-work it can occur. A simple fluctuation in hormones can cause us to have an extra period or even skip one. You also need to be aware of possible pregnancy. Yes you can have a period if your pregnant and if it is a troubled pregnancy you can continue to bleed. Are you on the pill? or another form of BC? missing a pill can cause this and once again getting used to the hormones in BC pills can cause irregular periods for up to 3 months.

Some girls have a 21 day cycle and some a 28 day cycle...Yours sounds like its the 21 day cycle...so you only have 21 days between periods...Sorry but there is no way to control when your period comes.

You could also be bleeding when you ovulate, although usually it is only spotting. Ovulation occurs between periods. A really good book that answers a lot of those questions, is Taking Charge of Your Fertility....
