I missed the end of the episode where one of the girls got married. i saw up to the wedding night as her husband showed her the scares on his chest. but dont no why she then retured home. none of my friends watch this and it has been bugging me for weeks.Did anyone see this?

The scar on his chest went further, he had no penis, therefore meaning he could not produce children with Iris. She wanted children and was obviously devastated. She turned up at home crying and the nice preisty bloke told her the marriage could be annulled as it was not consumated.
The man then sent her the three rabbits bloody and murdered in a box so finish the episode on a high note!!!

Sorry I don't know this about this part of the episode. My mum watches it and tells me what happens in Lilies from beginning to end but she never mentioned scars on the chest. Is this the husband who has the post war 'limp in a certain area' problem? If so the girl was allowed to go home because the marriage would be annulled due to his under performance.

This is a really good series, I never miss any of it.
He was unable to give her children or even consummate their marriage because of damage to his privates. Therefore the marriage was annulled.
He should have told her about this before the wedding, it was a really big shock for her and she desperately wanted a family.

He had no Penis because of gangrene, which meant that he was unable to give her a baby, so she returned home heartbroken. The priest said she would be able to have the marriage anulled but it would take time. I think the priest likes her. Her husband then killed all his rabbits and sent them to her dead!
