It is not too difficult to conceive a large dimension. However the most dificult thing to conceive is how small a mass volume can be.In both case there must exist a limit other wise dimensions become meaningless.

If you mean the cosmos as "perpetual bigness", and fundamental particles such as quarks and muons as "perpetual smallness", then why do they have to be mutually exclusive? In our experience the big is always made up of many of the small. No reason the cosmos is different.
