A hamburger engineer! People are seeking better quality in life these days. Everyone wants to move up in the society and so, the need to be associated with a serious job or at least one that sound serious, is highly sought after. So what's the harm in making it just that wee bit better for the 'sales assistant' or 'hamburger engineer' to wake up in the morning and go to work.

Well it gives the "What do you do?" brigade something to chew over I suppose. Personally I never ask anyone their job, as to me it tells you little about someone anyway. Also it's potentially offensive to people who are too ill to work, people who may have an unseen disability and who shouldn't feel they have to explain. It's also demoralising if you are unemployed and desperately looking for work. My first job was as a "general assistant" but I now tell people I was a skivvy.

earning their own money instead of scrounging? Ive had lots of menial jobs in the past but have never been ashamed to reveal their proper titles IE cleaner, shop assistant etc..
