HCG which is what is produced once the egg is implanted, is what causes the symptoms. So no you wont get any symptoms until at least 6 to 12 days after conception. The first sign I got was sore breasts at around 8 days after we conceived our 3rd son. I always got morning sickness at 6 to 7 weeks. I did also have implantation bleeding with 2 of my pregnancies which made me realize I was pregnant also.

I got enlarged tender breasts straight away and then I couldnt bare to drink coffee, but that was it until I had a missed period. I had a sort of knowing feeling inside but its hard to explain exactly but other women who have been pregnant say this too. I didnt get any further pregnancy symptoms until a few weeks in.
You can monitor your basal body temperature which rises at ovulation and drops just before your period, however if it doesnt drop and stays high for 17 days in a row then it is a good indication of pregnancy. Look on the site pregnancylounge.com it has lots of information about how to track this. Good luck!

you would not know there was anything wrong until around 6-8 weeks, then a scan would show the results. Most women have no idea they have concieved so how would they know before the egg has implanted? Of course not! The foetus has not started to develop then

Some women claim that they know as soon as conception takes place but realistically if the baby is not implanted into your body there is no way for your body to know it is there. Good Luck I hope you get what you are hoping for

Very unlikey to get any pain before impantation as the first pain you are most likely to feel at a very early stage is actually known as implantation pain.
Anyway, bide your time and do a test as soon as you can to put your mind at rest...

I conceived my son on Friday and on Sunday, I got morning sickness. My mother told me that she believed every mother knew immediately when she became pregnant. In view of the chemical and hormonal changes that conception brings about in a woman's body, this is probably true. Women totally tuned into their bodies would notice right away, I think.

Absolutely, 3 days after ovulation!, I felt very sick whilst on a plane, wasn't TTC (condoms), and being ignorant, did a HPT (way too early anyway) Thought I was going crazy as 2 friends had babies around that time. - Didn't show a BFP on HPT until 3 Days after AF due. Found I had very sore (.)(.) 3 days prior to AF due. Good Luck!
