Let him? This isn't a he or me answer. You guys need to sit down and talk about it. You need to tell him why you don't want one right now and he needs to tell you why he does. You two need to work on it until you both find an agreeable place. You can't just have a baby to please someone because you'll become bitter, but you can't just say "it's my body so forget it" without even telling him the reasons you have for wanting to wait. Honestly, I think that 5yrs is too long to wait for a good sibling bond, but 10 months isn't nearly long enough. Survive the terrible 2's then talk about adding siblings! =)

That depends to some extent on who's going to be doing the majority of the childcare. If you got pregnant now, you'd have two little ones under two, and that's a lot of work. Even if you wouldn't be staying home with both kids, but especially if you were, you have the right to wait, and you should tell your husband that you want to.

I THINK THAT YOU BOTH NEED TO COME UP WITH SOMETHING IN MIDDLE. MAYBE NOT RIGHT NOW...& MAYBE NOT TILL HE IS 5 BUT.....MAYBE WHEN HE IS BETWEEN 2&3 YEARS OLD. THAT MAY BE FARE ENOUGH.
YOU ARE THE ONE THAT HAS TO CARRY THE BABY & LETS FACE IT DO MOST OF THE WORK AFTER THE BABY IS HERE.
IF YOU LOVE ONE ANOTHER ENOUGH & RESPECT HOW EACH OTHER FEELS...THEN YOU WILL BEABLE TO DO THAT!!
WE HAVE THREE BEAUTIFUL LITTLE GIRLS FIRST TWO ARE 14 MONTHS APART. THEY ARE NOW 11 & 10 & WE HAVE A 2 YEAR OLD. IT WAS ALOT OF WORK WHEN THEY WERE LITTLE BUT, NOW THEY ARE BEST FRIENDS. SO, YOU MAY LIKE THAT THEY CAN BE THAT WAY. MY LITTLE IS KINDA LEFT OUT.
I WISH YOU ALOT OF LUCK.

I can understand why your husband would want an April baby. Summer is an awful time to be pregnant. However explain to him that you want each of your children to have their own special birth month(if possible). I would try for a baby born sometime in late June or early July if your heart is set on a summer baby.

Well of course you have to tell him! It wouldn't be fair. Just tell him right now you don't want another, but maybe you will change your mind in the near future. You never know what could happen. But tell him right now it will be at least a few years.

Adopt.???? "Should i let him?" Hunny unless you are adopting YOU are the one that will carry the child and go through the pain.. So YOU should make the decision when you feel ready

Maybe you could split the difference. If not, don't do it. This is not something you should do if you aren't completely comfortable with it.
