I am at work, so I don't know the exact specifics of the PC. It's a HP or Dell, I believe. I have connected it to the Internet and it is faily quick with like and 80 Gig HD. It's not too old. It runs XP.
I have wanted to turn it into a media center and hook it up to my DVR-satellite system. I've thought about networking it to my eMac as an external HD. Lately I've thought of loading Linux on it and learning that OS. WHAT DO I DO? I would like to have something cool that none of my friends have.
Help me out here, buds...

You could try installing MythTV (http://www.mythtv.org/), which would give yo a chance to use it as a media center as well as learning some Linux.

I keep a PC around to run stuff my mac cant. Making it a media center PC would be sweet though.

Just look at a lot of porn until it catches a virus than throw it away and use your mac.

hook it up to ur big screen tv to play games and watch streaming movies with it :D
