No, don't listen to those guys, even the Xbox 360 still beats Wii, seriously PS3 beats Xbox 360.

Yes because the Wii remote is not only a bat, or only a golf club like those other computer accessories that were available before. It's whatever you want it to be! It's a sword, a baseball, a tennis racket, a gun, a pointer, a hand, a steering wheel and just about anything else you can think of. It's true that Nintendo DOES like to play it safe most of the time, but they went out on a limb and instead of being afraid that people might not like the idea of new and non-traditional gaming. They took a BIG risk, but instead of shunning it, people embraced it. The Wii is truely remarkable, and it brings people together. It erases the line that separates gamers from non-gamers. Believe me, I've experienced this numerous times. Family members who NEVER play video games are now asking me when they can play Wii. It's that awesome. It truely is for everyone.

They are innovative with regards to controllers that suck (hello power glove) but I wouldn't go as far as saying they are the most innovative. All companies aren't without their faults, but our friends at the big N(intendo) like to play it safe, and sometimes they're a little too safe.
Controllers that detect movement is not new, the same technology was available in the early 90's. I know because I owned it =) It just wasn't mainstream like Nintendo's devices.
Motion detection was used nearly twenty years ago in steering wheel controllers, a golf club, and a bat. All available well before the Wii.

I don't know if "most innovative" is the best term. All three companies are innovating in their own rights. However, Nintendo has done the best job of convincing people that they're innovating, that's for sure.

No way. Microsoft has come up with the most amazing hardware ive ever seen. The Xbox 360 tops my computer, My 360 is a computer in itself. It is absolutely fabulous. Between the graphics and the perfect Xbox Live system, they have running. You can also stream music, video, and pictures straight from your computer. Xbox 360 has movies you can rent right on it, and television shows you may have missed, and even FREE demos of the hottest news games.

Yes. The new Nintendo Wii got so much hype be cause of the motion sensitivity. No other console got that idea of motion sensitivity.
