Nope. Because every New Yorker I talk to hates him. That tells me something about the true Giuliani, not the fairy tale hero we hear about.

I would vote for Rudy Giuliani, he seems to be a good moderate who, in my experience, has stuck to his guns. Sure the man may have his quirks, but so what, better than the rabble out on the campaign trail on both sides of the aisle. There are nothing but hard right, or hard left candidates campaigning and both are spouting rubbish. Both sides are guilty of fear-mongering, both sides are close minded and can't be bothered to accept or even consider other ideas. Republicans and Democrats are both bad choices, go with someone is a moderate, and that's what Giuliani is. Don't pick someone simply based on party affiliation.

I would obviously vote for him over Obama or Hillary in the presidential election, but he does not represent the views of most Republicans. Conservatives make up the base of the party, and he differs from their views on abortion, gay marriage, gun control, and immigration. However, McCain is also very liberal, Romney isn't popular enough, and Gingrich hasn't decided if he's running yet so Giuliani isn't much better or worse than any of them.

Since I am a democrat and very happy with our four major canidates of Obama, Clinton, Edwards, Gore????, I would not vote for him. However, if the democratic canidates were weak, I would consider it, because he is the most liberal republican out there.
He's pro-choice, pro-gay marriage, pro-stemcells, pro-gun control, "soft" on immigration, shares liberal views on the economy. Giuliani sounds like a democrat a lot more than a republican. That really makes me wonder if the republicans out actually read up on Giuliani, or they are just praising him because he is the biggest name they know who is republican.

He's certainly my favorite from the GOP. I'm more of a libertarian-Republican and the religious-right has hijacked the supposed party of individual rights and small government. It doesn't appear that Rudy will succumb to the religious wing of the party with his stance on gay rights and abortion (but, who really cares about those issues anyways?).
Rudy, though, must showcase himself as a strong fiscal "conservative", as much as that has become an oxymoron.

I will not vote for Giuliani because I want to vote for Hillary Clinton who has the intelligence and experience to run the White house.
