Blue, blue, the sky is blue!!!

The ocean is green because the sky used to be green and the green paint had to be removed before the sky was painted green.

Either that or the ocean has geen algae - though some parts are blue too. So, blue, blue, the ocean is blue too!!!!!

The sky is blue because it absorbs all the colors from the specter except blue, wich "reflects" into your eyes. Usually, the sea is blue because it reflects the sky. If the sky is cloudy, the sea is grey. If the sea is green, it is becaue there is seeweed at the bottom.

Because the ocean you're looking at is dirtier than the sky you're looking at. It's not always that way. In Los Angeles, the sky is usually brown, and the oceans almost always blue!

to add onto mesasha's answer....its because of the wave frequencies. all light is absorbed and blue is not because it has a low wave frequency.
