Feedback required?

I have a small book which lists small statements from ppl as to what they have learned in life i.e. advice to other ppl e.g. you know you have locked your keys in the car the moment you have slammed the door.
What piece of advise can you give that you have learned in life. The advice can be absolutely anything and 10 points to the best most original contribution.

1) Make sure you have a written contract when dealing with people for services or leases or renting of your property.
2) Don't hire your friends to work for you. This can really mess up a friendship sometimes.
3) Don't date your friends' ex.
4) Don't say yes to something that you can't follow through with or don't believe in doing.
5) If you are treated unjustly don't be afraid to stand up for yourself and to seek legal advice.
6) If you talk to a customer service person on the phone or in person, get their name and extension number, just in case you have a future problem with what they told you. I had this problem with my computer and with my gas company and credit card. I got a dirty deal and if I had the people's names and extension number , then I could have probably gotten somewhere with them.
It also does not hurt to tape record phone conversations.
There are more I could give, but these are pretty common and I hope that they are somewhat useful to you.

Dont sweat the small stuff.
We bring on an emmense amount of stress upon ourselves by getting worked up, angry, or frustrated over things we simply cannot control. Look at a problem, figure how to solve it, and move on. They how and why of it doesnt matter and bit*hing about it doesnt get you anything but annoyed.
