sure the age is weird and it doesnt really seem right.. then again i was busted for dating a 17 yr old when i was 13 but all i can say is just go with ur gut! im sure you two are good... give it until you turn 14 maybe... and then be open with your mom and family... its never good to lie to your parents. just wait it out a little longer you never know you guys may not be together forever so it wont matter about what happens now... not trying to be a ***** i just know how this stuff happens1

I think you should be honest and tell your mother. Tell her you dont want to lie to her and need her support. Understand that your mother reaction mite not be favorable but she just wants whats good for you. I dont think the age difference of two is a big deal. You are quite young, there are many years ahead of you before you really mature. Stick around just being friends. You wont regret it. If it was meant to be, it will be. Im 18. Love is a lifestyle of commitment. No fooling around. Dont rush it. You still got the world to see. Make wise choices. God bless you.

Gosh, that is a difficult question. It seems odd to date someone who is slightly older than you, but then again age is just a number sometimes. I think you should introduce this boy to your parents, let them get to know him, hint out all the good qualities of this boy (great athlete, or smart person, handy with computers, good cook, etc), and when your parents feel comfortable around him, you'll eventually choose the right moment to tell them your boyfriend's age.
But don't be surprised if your parents are slightly comfy with it.

Well, maybe you don't have to tell her the age difference. And anyways, it's not that big of and age difference... If you really gotta tell her, then explain her nothing bad is gonna happen, and she is also the same age apart as your dad too... I mean it's not fair if she freaks out if she's like that her herself... But you should definitely not lie to her... Just relax and tell the truth...unless you have to, maybe you shouldn't tell how old he is! good luck!

I think that's not to much of an age difference. then again as long as hes nice to you and he dint hurt you GO FOR IT . i would also suggest telling your parents, if you dont they Will probably find out any way and then they might not trust you , but I'm sure if you tell them yourself and be honest about him being nice to you, you will probably have a much better chance on them agreeing with you and letting you date him. have fun and good lick , just be smart girl and dont let it get too far!

If you already trust your mom with your bf stuff why stop?? I would tell her before she finds out another way. If you don't tell her she might lose trust in you, and think you are trying to hide something. However, if you come straight out and tell her, and let her meet him, she might be more understanding. Just don't hide it from her. Parents have ways of finding things out, and it might not end up good for you.

heres a little quote "age is nothing but a number" -- Aaliyah. remember as long as he respects you and you love each other, age doesnt matter. well, unless its a massive difference like 10 and 32 ...ew.
