I'm not exactly in a closed office and the bosses office is right on the other side of the wall from my desk but the way my monitor sits you can't tell what I have up on my screen and if someone actually tries to invade my space I just minimize the screen...

It looks like I am working when I type, move around the mouse a little, and every once in a while I curse at the stupid stuff I see here. The people in the office think I am having some difficulties with the "work" I am doing.

I'm an ER nurse. I live in a small town (population 950). I am at the nurses station. I am the only nurse here. When we get a patient I go help them. Then call the doctor who's in the doctors sleeping quarters. I can always see when someone is coming, then I get out of Q & A's.

i do all my yahoo answers at home. if i am doing anything else at work that i dont want to be caught doing..usually nothing lol, i wait till my boss goes out to lunch. then by the time she gets back i have thought of something to do. haha my work is easy i can get everything done in one day for the rest of the week.

I'm allowed to do what I want on the net (except listen to music, no speakers) as long as its not adult content, and as long as I don't let phone calls go, or let faxes pile up. (I'm the receptionist so, definitely not a closed office)
its even in my job description lol.. this is an awesome company! =)

I am the only one at this store from open til close and my boss can't see my computer screen from the security camera if I raise my chair and sit at an angle.

some ppl do, also, whenever sum1 comes by they minimize the window. also they clear the history, and if this site is blocked at ur work there is some site u can go on to get past it but i forgot.... also some employers really dont care, just as long as they do there work
