I am enjoying this discussion about why 30ish people act like children.
My next question would be , do you think that acting like an "adult" is just that, an act?
I mean I see older people in their 60's or 70's act
more close to children than I do people in their late 20's - 50's.
Is it maybe that when you get married that your partner and you try to fool each other with the ole , "much older" "matiure" "adult" act?
Do you think that many over do the "grown up , professional act"?
Is it really kind of a sham or is it not?
Maybe that is why people who dont get married are more childish acting or maybe that is why they never got married.

Once you reach the age you can reproduce you are an adult.
A mature adult relizes that life is about giving and marrige is commiment to give to your partner and sacrifice for your children. When carried out properly it is not an act. It is what makes the perpetuation of the species possible.
Now to think that people are not selfish and get married and immediatly stop acting selfish is just foolish. Shoot the entire advertising industry is geared to getting people to behave selfishly and they are very effective at it. That's why we have a 50% divorce rate. We're just plain selfish.
Hence you confusion.

I think is hard to act as an adult if you don't think like an adult, most people become " adults " in increments, every few years you realize that you are not the same you were before, and through experiences.Once you reach adulthood and I'm not talking 18, it is very hard to act inmature. Sometimes elderly people act childish not by choice but due to neurological degeneration such as dementia, and as far as marriage partners being able to fool one another, it is possible but not probable. You know what they say about fooling some of the people some of the time but not all people all of the time.

i presumed the argument in case you permit a guy marry a guy, then next you are able to permit a guy marry an animal, or have marriages with greater beneficial than 2 companions. the 1st one is bogus as an animal won't be in a position to declare provide consent via announcing "I do". The latter has been area of Muslim and Mormon custom for generations, nonetheless that's outlawed interior the Western countries right this moment. whether the phobia and jealousy in touch with a husband taking yet another, youthful, prettier companion is a difficulty of many women human beings. finding a thank you to make it criminal and extensive-unfold via perchance a spiritual community is a consequently of course a difficulty. it incredibly is a manipulatively worded argument to make women human beings affiliate gay marriages with a style to allow bigamous marriages and thereby play on their insecurities.

LOL no. But then I use my children as an excuse to act childish.
My theory is, we all grew up so fast and realised how boring being adult is so we regress -
- Just dont regress by throwing yourself onto your bed (oops) when the frame is wooden. Any advice on how to fix it now it's cracked right through?

i think it is all an act, look at a group of married men when seperated from their wives for a stag weekend, or a group of women on a hen do, as soon as they're away from their partners they become children again.
i do it on a daily basis and drive my wife mad, but hen again, i never pretend to be an adult.
