It is illegal for me to tell you to go to sourceforge.org and download Audacity for free and record each track as you play your CD, save as a .WAV or .OGG and burn to a different CD. So please don't do that because it is not legal.

You can purchase blank CDs with copyright royalty pre-paid. These will burn both in the stand alone recorders or a computer CDR. They are not easy to find, as most people ignore the copyright issue and burn pirates on CDroms. An electronic store that sells the stand alone recorders should be able to help as this is the only CDR they will work with. Most software will allow you to decide if you want to make copy of a protected CD.

Copyright? you won't be in a position to copyright something that's somebody elses. that's the incorrect word. except ofcourse you created those songs your self, then they are already copyrighted via you. whether, burning it as a track CD won't enable you to password look after it. Sorry.
