Gore would not have prevented 9/11, but he would not have ventured into Iraq either. He would have caught Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan by avoiding the distraction of Iraq.

Gore would have continued the negotiations with North Korea that were started under Clinton, so North Korea would not have nuclear weapons today.

The Senate would have ratified the Kyoto Treaty by now had Gore taken office in 2001. We would be much closer to finding a solution to global warming.

Without the expense of the war in Iraq and Bush's tax-giveaways to the wealthy, the United States government would not have huge deficits to worry about. The economic situtation of the country would be much more solid. There would be less unemployment.

Seniors would enjoy lower drug prices under Gore than under Bush. Gore would allow Medicare officials to negotiate low prices with drug companies.

The victims of the Katrina hurricane would not have been neglected by Al Gore.

With Gore as President the United States would enjoy the respect and admiration of the world it once had. We would have more friends and fewer enemies.

Gore would fund "No Child Left Behind" and it would begin to be a reality.

Gore would not have torn up the Constitution, imprisoned supposed enemies without charge, or spied on American citizens. Everyone would have more freedom than under Bush.

The war in Iraq has increased the terrorist threat. By avoiding this war, Gore would have lowered the threat of terrorism. Resources would have been channeled into more useful programs, and fewer people would hate us.

Gore would devote time and resources to other pressing issues, including HIV/AIDS in Africa, relationships with Latin America, the struggle against increased drug consumption, human rights in Darfur, Third World debt, and immigration (among other things.)

I think he would be the GREATEST President.

I knew Mr. Gore when he was a senator. He is a politician. I believe he has turned over a new leaf on global warming and pollution. I truly wish he has his heart into this. Yes, I did disagree with some of his policies, but he did try to and still does what he feels like is best for our country and it's people.

I do not profess to belong to any party. But you can find good and bad in anyone, irregardless of political orientation. Seems like we only look for the bad. Just look at the present situation of our President. What was his rating 3 years ago?

This is a biased question so i hope there is no 'correct' way of answering.

I am in somewhat favor and non favor of the former runner for president.

Even after he ran, he spread messages around America concerning global warming. This man has tried to change lives and views of this worldwide disaster. He has done an excellent job but no one listens.

So i am in favor for Gore in the ways that he tries to spread message but i don't know how he would have ran for president.

very favorably....what has he ever been immoral about and can anyone cite something he has ever done wrong....he is an environmentalist...that makes him a person who wants to protect the world for his grandchildren and everyone else's grandchildren...people who put him down are just politically partisan and attack him because his views are not pro-"earth first, we'll log the other planets later". he has an opinion, Bush has an opinion....

Let's see, his people had his crotch airbrushed for enhancement when he was on the cover of Rolling Stone, then he wore blush and sighed and sighed during a presidential campaign debate, he had a gulch flooded with water so he could look cool kayaking or canoeing, that's hardly a genuine real guy. It tells me that he considers his supporters to be gullible. But when he conceded the 2000 race, that was genuine because he knew he had not won.

Most favorably! He is a man of principle, honorable, wise & well liked by many. The only ones who don't seem to care for him are the ones that don't want to hear about Global Warming!
This man won the popular vote of the nation against G.W. Bush, he should have been the President!

Al Gore is a buffoon. He's not just a shady politician, as most are, he's a losing one and he's bad at current issues.

At the same time his movie "Inconvenient Truth" is preaching global warming, NASA satellites are measuring the GROWTH of the southern polar ice cap and the slow southward advance of the frost line in the US and stopping just short of predicting a minor ice age in the next 100 years like the one that ended in 1850.

(If any of this sounds new to you, it's because the media doesn't report actual authoritative facts. They consider Al Gore and liberal activists to be more "authoritative" on the environment than NASA scientists.)
