I don't mind it, I guess. My computer doesn't like it.

For those that don't know----Starting in 2007, Daylight Saving Time will be extended by 4 weeks in most United States and Canadian time zones. Daylight Saving Time will begin the second Sunday in March (March 11th), 3 weeks earlier than in past years. Daylight Saving Time will end the first Sunday in November (November 4th), 1 week later than in past years. This change complies with a provision of the U.S. Energy Policy Act of 2005 and affects all U.S. time zones that observe Daylight Saving Time (DST). In addition to the United States, many countries have adopted or are considering adopting similar DST changes, I.e. Canada.

I do not like it. The reason I don't like it is because the time of sunrise will be about 7:30 A.M. in my location when DST takes effect. It will look like a winter morning. I do not appreciate having to get ready for work in darkness in the morning. At least in April, the sun rose early enough on standard time that we could push the clocks ahead one hour and not have sunrise times be too late. With the new schedule this year, sunrise times in March will be like those in October, LATE!

This is another stupid thing that Bush did. It's causing havoc in the computing world worse than the Year 2000 event. We spent 3 months correcting our reservation system. In this day and age, DST isn't important, leave alone changing the rules.
