I am SO tired of this question.
A politician should be judged on their character and their views, NOT on their race or their gender.
Yes, we are ready for a woman or black president, but only if that woman or black person are actually cut out for it.

What really matters is which Replican candidate the party thinks will beat out the Democrats. If there is an indication that Hillary will be the front runner, then the Republicans should put Condi out there.

well i dont think that she means this as in its because of the race that will make a person a better candidate.i think that obama wouldn't be fitting for this because his name is too close to osama's...I'm just playin but we all know that men like to be dominate and that probably wouldn't work out well. picking Hilary would just be like picking bill Clinton again because of course he is going to help her out. its basically going to be her face, his rules, and more rights for women.who is to say we have to stick to the traditional white male??? there is no law saying that, that is required in order to obtain presidency. i say its 2007 lets try something new and if we dont like it we impeach that person.

Yes we are ,but the ideology is are that's important.None of the black or women candidates are able to represent the ideology of the average American.Hopefully nobody would vote strictly on race or gender.

first of all I can't stand Hillary and all that she stands for. If it was any other female, maybe. As for Obama, he has no experience! in anything! I am Republican, so for me to think that one of these choices would win would be WRONG. my vote goes to Guliani. He stood strong thru 9/11, without swaying under tons of pressure.

Definately does not matter the color of the skin. Thinking as a woman, it would be better for a woman to run the country. They think with their heads not with their egos.

i don't think it is necessary to judge a prospective candidate by the color of their skin or the basis of which sex they might be..we should judge by their character and their stand on issues that affect us all.
