Since so many conservatives support the war why is there a shortage of recruits? Shouldn't these strong war supporters sign up today?

I think they are waiting for the LIEberals to leave. Once we can stop this none sense of POLITICAL CORRECT WAR, and actually go in and do what needs to be done, then you will see the long line of the TRUE fighters who will defend us to the end. You know so you can sleep safely in your bed at night and get up every morning, have a cup of coffee, spend time with loved ones, go to work, OH and don't forget the pleasure of playing with computer DAY IN DAY OUT. If you think you can do a better job, by all means JOIN go and try to do it your way.

You must really like the abuse that's going to come your way asking a question like that. Why would you think that the ranks within the military are filled by liberals? Do you even understand the meaning of Conservative? And who would want an army of conservatives? The fact that yahoo sends me nasty emails every time I tell people what I really think of their lunacy keeps me from telling you just how small minded you appear to be.

Key word, volunteers. Seriously, how many young people are looking forward to going to Iraq or Iran after high-school. Keyboard warriors, kill everything. Support the war, support the draft.

There isn't a need for more troops. But if there was a call for volunteers, conservatives would be first in line. Not the cowardly liberals.

I think that all illegal immigrants should volunteer for a three year burst in the army or marines. Then after they serve the country they want to live in, they will become citizens. Thats not asking much.
