I had an experience a day after my friend of 12 years passed away. I was parked in my car with windows up, no air running, when a large dark shadow came down the road and up to my window, through the window and flipped my hair. I am usually very psychic, and this made my hair stand up on my arms and neck. Anyone have an explanation?

Yes. You needed to have that last connection. It doesn't matter who arranged it or how it played out.
I like to think that a friend, who had died the day before, left a message. I was going for a walk and a mailbox on the road had "I love you" written on it.
I know that my friend didn't write that, but I took comfort in being led to see it.
When a favorite uncle died, I felt him come into my car, while I was driving, to say "Goodbye." I heard the words as if they were in my mind, not out loud, and I sensed his presence.
Both of these helped me to be at peace with these deaths.

Well that would be scary IMO... I prefer things that would NOT be a scary occurrence... :-o

I have never seen anything/anyone... though my immediate family all individually had the same experience, in the same location (at the cupboard where the food was kept...), happen in hearing a cat that had been lost months before. On two or three occasions I heard a single Meow as if he were behind me. Also with him, we never saw it, but we are pretty certain that one noise we heard off and on was a spring door bumper he used to reach other the door and play with. On occasion my mother would hear that "sproing" noise, with no one else or no other pets to do it. I only heard it myself once, and I really wish I had seen it.

Other then that, a touch light being activated on occasion by an unknown source. It has three levels of brightness, so sometimes it will go through all the levels, come back on and stop at one, or just come on, sit for a while, then change again. It initially did it for quite some time, but now it will stop for months at a time, then come back for a day or two, then be gone for a while. If it was electrical, you wouldn't think it would be so sporadic... If it is *someone* then we feel it sounds like something my grandmother would do just playing around, we got the cabinet (that has the light) within the year after she'd passed away.

Probably the one thing that really got me was two winters ago. Sitting in this very cold computer room, wishing the heat would come on. At some point, out of nowhere I got this brush of warm air (like breath-warm) across the right side of my face. Twice I leaned over to check the vent, hoping I had (somehow at this angle) felt a draft of heat from it, but there was nothing, it was just cold. I then sat up and wondered Ok...then what the heck was that?? Or who? People talk about "cold spots," but a warm spot...I have my ideas of who I hope and feel it may have been... : )

I was overseas when my uncle passed away due to a liver condition and the night before his funeral, I was alone at home. I was trying to do some school work when I saw the curtains moving. The windows were shut and there wasn't any wind in the room or anything like that. I knew it was my uncle saying his last goodbye to me.
