I'm really wanting to get a 360 providing i can transfer games onto the hardrive and play them, does the 360 need any modification for me to be able to do this?

Tut tut, you shouldn't have back up games unless you own the originals. Damn, just reminded myself I really must remove those games from my old xbox hard drive. You need to get the 360 flashed, doesn't need a chip. You will then be able to play back ups. Costs about £50. Try xbox scene or similar. Not sure if you will be able to play games from an external hard drive though. I know microsoft do an external hard drive but how this works am not sure. Would have thought you would still need the disc as otherwise you could put your games on their hard drive without flashing the 360 and get rid of the game as its on the hard drive. It would also mean you could hire the latest games and stick them on the hard drive. This would then be an infringement of copyright.
