It shows how ignorant they are. Take FDR, Truman, and JFK for example. They were even more conservative than today`s republicans...Are today`s democrats that uneducated about their own party ? Democrats keep proving to me what fools they are by telling me how great those men were (to further their own liberal agenda). These men were great because they were NOT liberal by today`s standards !... Today`s democratic party is truely ruled by modern day leftists the way I and many others see it.. What do you think ?

Because, in many ways, they are.
FDR was a liberal and a socialist by necessity. He took on America during the Great Depression. Truman was more conservative by necessity. He dropped The Bomb and invaded Korea. JFK was moderate enough to avoid WW3 during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Again by necessity.
The country evolves. These leaders change with it.
It's still about peace, jobs, education, social programs. Today's Dems are no different.

what we have today is comunications. we know more about the partys than ever before. are dems any dumber now than they were then? nope , the news cant lie or omit anything anymore. we have the internet. and that keeps the dumbies in check. Both partys! LOL!

Why do today's republicans think they are anything like what our forefathers called a republican? Those men were great because they did good things for the country, NOT because they were conservative. What we NEED are some politicians that actually care about the citizens they "represent". NO party is ruled by the right or left fringes. That's only what those on the fringes want you to believe. Sound to me like you are the ignorant one.

I'll take a leftist/socialist agenda over a nazi ( republican ) agenda.
American politics is in a sad state of affairs. Both parties take orders from the same people. The little stuff is what we are divided over while they ALL screw us in the big picture.
