Downloading MP3s for this dern thing?

I went to the store and bought this MP3 player.... the guy who helped me said I wouldn't have to download music, but as I have few cds, which is the reason i got this thing... I'm going to have to. Anyone know a GOOD place online to download MP3z for a decent price? Or better, where I can get a memership and download as many as I want??? PLEASE KEEP IN MIND I HAVE A 56K MODEM.... THANKS SO MUCH!!! -Amy
