Leader is a calling not a position. If one is called to Lead one is equipped to lead. Therefore when one is called to lead they make it look easy. Winston Churchill comes to mind.
In the face of constant opposition He was a lone voice against Fascism. He risked His very reputation for what He knew was right.
Maggie Thatcher had it. Ronald Reagan had it. Today, at least against the War on Terror our President has it.
And like them before Him. History will be kind to Him once the smoke clears.
Eventually all will come to the realization that George W. Bush really doesn't give a **** what people think of Him when He makes a decision He knows to be right.

Being a leader is easy. Being an effective leader is hard.

Being a leader is not really to easy. They say it's lonely at the top. But to be an effective leader, you must make some descions that are always not the most popular. You must also stick to your guns. People may not like your descions but you will have their respect for being firm and not wishey washey.

I think that being a leader is not easy because people put most of the responsibility in your hands but you can do it if you have the strength.

If you have the skills, yes. If not then no. Easy is a point of view. Some people can solve Sudoku puzzles in a few seconds. For others, Sudoku puzzles are chalenging. So what I am saying is some people can be a great leader because they have the skills nescesary to do so. For others, it can be chalenging to be a leader.

no its not easy r u crazy? all the desicions you have to make...and if you want to be a leader 4 a town or sumthin u cant jus pick what you want...you have to think of what the peoples want...and its hard 2 b a leader in fashion 2 because u want to "follow" the latest trends

No. Everyone pretends to like you because you are in charge. You don't really know who you can trust. Making decisions that effect people is extremely difficult especially when you honestly care.
