Both actually. Neither were all that much fun as I recall.

The left arm was broken just below the shoulder, was in traction for about a month.

Stitches were from a cut on the leg. Car wreck. Didn't have a lot of fun that time either.

Yep -- multiple times for broken bones (but of course .. I am Retired Military -- so enough said). Now this single Empty-Nesting Retiree (about a week and a half ago) broke her foot -- and yes, the toes are broken at the joints, and I broke a couple of Metatarsals too (long story -- just that I was in my workshop and dropped a heavy piece of wood). So yes, VERY Painful, and now ...

My home renovations and repairs are at a Standstill .. (literally ... because I can NOT stand!).

I broke my middle finger on my right hand when I was in the first grade. A kindergartener and I were playing, and he accidentally threw a stick at me, and it hit my finger.

Stitches? Nah.

Breaking bones, spraining ankles, and getting stitches are actually a good thing: they prove that you don't just sit around all day being a couch potato.

I broke my collarbone in 1/2 and waited about a week for it to start healing but it wouldn't. I had to have my shoulder cut open and a plate screwed to it and then stitched back up. I also had to get 39 stitches on my face, including on my eyelid (SO gross!) so yes I have. (car accident)

Broke my arm in two places and dislocated it when my cousin leaned over the back of a porch swing causing it to flip.
