How do I find out how old my cooktop is?

It's not on the label with the model and serial number. Is there a database somewhere online I can punch in one of these numbers and it will pull up the date of manufacture?

Or you can figure it out roughly by color and design. Hint: if it's avocado green or gold, think 1970's.

Search for the makers web site and you should be able to input the serial numbers and learn something. Or perhaps E mail the companies address and get the information.
