here's how.
apply for Walmart. ask to work in the video section.
Learn to order, then, when the order comes in, bring in a couple copies of your DVD as well and recommend it to the customers.

If you ask me, Wal-Mart is a lousy place to sell anime. The anime they do got is placed in a small shelf space and is dedicated to the more marketable titles (like Dragonball Z). And it's not just Wal-Mart. It seems big box stores think of anime as a 'niche' business and doesn't specialize in it much (but Best Buy and Hastings seems to be better at it than others). Target has dropped anime altogether last year.
The best bet, if you can't sell it at Best Buy or Hastings is to go for a good outlet is a small bookstore that sells anime on a regular business.

Most major stores have buying departments. Ring them find out who runs this area, then ring them and make an appointment. Maybe send them a free copy.

You usually have to speak to the merchandising manager at their parent office when peddling your wares, but unless you have a large following they may not pay attention. Try anyway and good luck!

Wal-Mart is a corporation run by rich people whose only interest is making money. THEREFORE, if you are not a high-selling act known nationwide, your material is not going to make it on their shelves. You aren't profitable enough, and you don't have connections with uber-rich businessmen.

Why don't you just sell it yourself. You will not make any money selling it in Wall-Mart.
