yes you will get along!
capricorn in the luckiest sign in the zodiac being 1/2 fish and 1/2 animal! they are hardheaded at times but very inteligent people. pisces is said to be dreamers but I dont agree with that. I believe that the problem is they are mutli talented and just dont know what direction to go in at times but they do know what IS important and when push comes to shove they are there getting the job done! Capricorns like pisces get attached to things and some say they have a problem with VICES being alcohol or other substance. The best thing you can do as a new mother who is a pisces to a Cap... is put her on a schedule so you have some time for you and encourage good habits and dont take for granted how smart they are at an early age! speak in whole sentences to her and take the time to TEACH them things ... they LOVE to learn.
ps: i find the chinese horoscope even more interesting! you should check that out and get a book on feng shui while your at it... it might make her sleep better.

I'm a Capricorn, my youngest brother is a Pisces, we get on like a house on fire, both like to talk, both love music, reading and travelling, never had a fall out with each other in our life's, my niece is a Pisces and we tend to be a loggerheads more often than not, I think its more about the person than the star sign their born under so I wouldn't worry too much, you daughter will love you forever, your her daddy so stop worrying.

Capricorn With Pisces:8/10
Pisces will take Capricorn by surprise and he or she may want to skip work for a change. Capricorn will learn what it's like to date the homecoming king/queen with Pisces. Pisces will provide emotional support and security during the highs and the lows and Capricorn needs this security in a relationship. This is a good combination with complimentary values. And there's nothing Capricorn likes better than being admired. Pisces generous affections and Capricorn's strong sense of loyalty combine to make each feel safe and protected. These very different people meet each other's needs.
Bringing Up Young Capricorn
Young Capricorns are not particularly enthusiastic about sports or the outdoors, so they need to be encouraged to spend time outside in the fresh air getting some exercise. Trips to museums, archaeological sites, or even rock climbing are likely to satisfy them. Usually, Capricorns work doggedly at school subjects and aim to get good grades and gain honors. It may be that they need to be encouraged to relax and play. They may seem very serious children, but they have a sense of humor; this needs to be encouraged -- but not by teasing.
Young Capricorn's Needs
A secure, warm home with a regular routine and reliable, appreciative parents are essential to Capricorns. In spite of all their capable maturity, young Capricorns can lose self-confidence very easily.
What To Teach Young Capricorn
Young Capricorn must be taught how to relax and to take a rest from his or her responsibilities from time to time, or their life will become joyless. Young Capricorns need plenty of reassurance because they are natural worriers. Their diet and exercise routine should also be carefully handled, as young Capricorns are prone to illness. Their resistance to disease improves with age. Sensitivity to other people's feelings and an understanding of other people's difficulties should be taught in practical situations -- but without emotional pressure. Young Capricorns also need to be taught how to express their own very sensitive inner emotions in ways that will not cause them embarrassment.
Love & Blessings
Milly

Honestly, when it comes to children, horoscopes don't matter. I have no children of my own, but I'm an 18 year old Scorpio, and my mother is a Taurus. They are polar opposites on the wheel of the zodiac, which means that they should not even be able to coexist in the same household without a meltdown. 4 of my mom's 5 children are Scorpios and the only fighting my mother and I (or any of the other Scorpios in my family!) do is the normal mother/daughter fighting. As long as you are a good parent, you will get along with your daughter. When she gets to a difficult age, she will fight with you...just know that you shouldn't chalk it up to her zodiac sign.

Just don't base it on sunsigns alone. Take a look at her natal chart and yours, and you can see what compliments and what doesn't in your relationship, but the only true way to know is to experience it firsthand :)
