i do agree w/ some of u they are fadding out my personal rating is 5 now that i have thought about it i LOVE other songs and a bunch are a LOT better. like the killers fat joe jay-z akon unk and a lot more they need to come out with a good cd!!!

first of all.......i like greenday! But they havent come out with any new and popular songs...have you seen them on vh1 top 20 countdown lately.....? no! But i have seen a lot of other artists with alot of good songs....like beyonce with irreplaceable.......in other words........there are alot more good/great artists out there besides greenday. Maybe green day should write a really good song that everyone loves and then they might get back on the charts!
if you dont like my advice......then ask someone else!!

Well, they were sort of a one-trick pony, flash-in-the-pan act to begin with. They had some decent albums at first, but they are simply too formulaic to maintain popularity. But the real blow to their credibility, in my opinion, is their scene jumping. When pop-punk went down the tubes and emo took over, they donned black outfits and hair dye and makeup and started playing somber tunes with depressing lyrics. It's disgraceful, really.

They were never a great band...good, but never great. THEN to try to salvage their career, they started getting political...i.e. American Idiot, Holiday...etc. Sickening. Tried gaining popularity by jumping on the stupid 'hate Bush' bandwagon.
I hate them now by the way.

They were too overarted. They had some good music for a while and then thats it. Nobody likes that kind of punk rock anymore

I hate them because they aren't punk rock, and say they are, and American Idiot was such a stupid song(not to mention all of their other songs). I hate Bush, don't get me wrong, but the true patriots are the screamers like myself, not the cowards who disown their country. If you don't like the gov't do something about it...geez..

because there an emo band that sucks real bad they dont have talent and they are really old-im sorry to offend your music but this is why, they dont get ratings and no one wants there music anymore they push to be cool there posers, wana be cool people-which they very are not,

i have no idea and they are my favorite band too!! (next to taking back sunday of course!!)
but they should be buying more albums and i agree with you!! don't you think gd should be coming out with a new album soon?

i used to like them but they don't make any new music and they don't go on tour, there rating has gone down cus they are dying off.

i dont know,greenday is th best ever,Hinder is the second best and then probaly NickleBack.Greenday will go up once they get a new song out.
