My friend went on Anabuse (spelling may be off) last year for his drinking, but has since started drinking again. He KNOWS he's an alcoholic, but does it anyway-especially after his 3 year old daughter leaves after her weekend visits. The final straw for me was when he called in because he was too drunk to go to work one day last week.How do I approach this without making him angry at me? I just want him to know how concerned I am for his safety and those around him.

sorry there is nothing you can do to make him stop, all you can do is look after your self go to an AL ANON group if you can not find such a group get in touch with AA they are the first thing listed in every phone book in the world, they can tell you where the meeting are held for friends and family of acholocics annoumous

it doent matter if he is angry at you and your bein a true friend by bein concerned go to him and tell him your concerned and dont like wat hes doin to himself and others around him that love him if he gets mad keep tryin cuz dats wat a friend is all about not givin up on each other
