you cannot free fall fast enough to generate enough heat to burn you. so you will need to be propelled by a jet engine untill your speed is fast enough to burn. Otherwise sky divers would have all been burned by now

You would have to be in the atmosphere and dropping down in order to be incinerated and burned. Though you wouldn't last long. You would be less than ashes by the time you even reached Earth's cloud and got out ot the stronger atmospheres. You know those asteroids, when they come to earth, they are usually burned to a little rock, if they are big enough, a lot just burn up and they are not small.

A speeding object entering Earth's atmosphere does not burn up from air friction. The heat comes from air compression in front of the object.

Inside the atmosphere u can reach about 250 mph. which will not burn u up. The astronauts that reentered were traveling fast enough that almost blew up. When their suits got ruptured they actually blew up from there internal pressures.
