I have a so -called best friend to whom i confide almost everything to.We are both married and we both have have our ups and downs.She claims not to love her husband and says she is unhappily married,where as I am content with my marriage.I confided in her that I thought my husband may be cheating, her response was not what i expected.Instead of her support, i got a response like "he probably is and let him as long as he comes home to you.I laughed it off , but i was hurting inside aren't best friends supposed to comfort you ,and not kick you when your down.What gives?

Yes that is what best friends are supposed to do but remember one thing, misery loves company. She probably wants you to be just as unhappy in your marriage as she is in hers.

I think what the deal here is that she's jealous of you and your husband's relationship. Since she apparently doesn't love her own husband, she's envious of you. Her goal here is to try to bring you down to her level and position.

Something's definitely up with her. Maybe you should consider asking her about it? The same with your husband.

She is just bitter because her marriage isn't like yours. She should be there for you and comfort you...Don't let her get you down. Ask your husband though....Good luck!

She is just hating on your marriage because her marraige is messed up and she wants to make you feel bad .
