I'm not trying to be funny or sick!!
I seriously wonder what the record number of missions would be!
I know there was the fuel shortage along with the "Honour of dying for the Emperor & country" as well as doing their duty.
The question was merely to find out if any one pilot lived to fly again and again without a parachute and the possibility of humiliation or brandished a coward if they returned unharmed

The maximum number of flights made by a kamikaze pilot is 1. They could have been a pilot before that and flown several missions, but there can only be 1 mission as a kamikaze pilot.

I would think they would have flown during lessons.. Otherwise there wouldn't have been many taking off, let alone crashing into ships & whatnot. Somehow I think the survival rate after the first missions was 0.. But they might have been shot down, parachuted out and lived to fly another day.
That's not very funny dude..
EDIT: I don't think many landed on the boats in 1 piece, flower man.. just lots and lots of little pieces..

What difference does it make ? It is not a remarkable statistic. He is just the same as any other pilot except after he learns to fly the jet, he goes on a few missions and sacrifices himself for his country in the end.

i would of said it would of been 1 as no point going on a kamikaze mission and coming back as it was a one way flight...
would of been a bit hard to talk your way out of it....
"yea saw the ships but was not the right day to die, think this Friday would be better"
suicide that was the point, it was a suicide mission and to cause as much damage as possable..

Kamikaze pilots that fought in the war were bad pilots.
The good ones never made it through practise.
