Is it any good without Sir Anthony Hopkins?

It's totally NOT worth seeing without Anthony Hopkins. The plot is weak, and not as smart as the other books/movies. Although I haven't read the book, from seeing the movie, it seems like it would be pretty cool to learn about Hannibal's childhood.

I saw it over the weekend. I thought it was awesome, but the Japanese woman that was in it was not necesssary. I think that it was better the Red Dragon, and I would see it again, because the man who played young Hannibal was awesome
