my appt. is at 10:00 am, and I'm taking a course that my job requires me to take. I live in a small town and the driver examiner comes in once a month and I've been waiting for too long and kinda getting anxious to just take it and get it over with. I've spoken with my superivoser, and she seemed like she didn't want me to take it, she asked if I can reschedule. So my question is... what do I do next?

Just explain the situation to her- you only have an opportunity to do it once a month and you have made an appt. Explain that this is important for you so that you can continue to be dependable and show up to work- need to drive! Good luck! She may seem a bi put out, but you are being honest and not calling in sick or something then doing it. You should be commended and supported.

Why don't you check with the State Police in your state to see if they have another town where you can take the test on a different day. I live in a small town myself but our State Troopers have several places to give the drivers tests within a 45 mile radius and all at different days.

Your supervisor hasn't got a heart, maybe she doesn't want to see you get on better in your life. Go above her and speak to your manager explaining that you know the course is important for your job but you have waited for a long time for your license, you may be surprised with there answer

Take the test. It'll likely last a whole lot longer than your job.
