No this is not true. Most doctors are truly dedicated human beings that care about people and whole heartedly want to help people. Some may get the most from the insurance provider to load their pockets, but most are decent and ethical human beings.

Most start out with a regard to help people. After a period of time, they find that they can supplement their income by sending a patient through the revolving door, IE, keep them coming back as often as possible, or refer them to their colleagues, whom will refer others back to them. All part of the game.
