Definitly matches. They say most people die of hypothermia and dehydration when lost. There are ways to purify water (heat being one) but heat is hard to produce without fire..........Wait, I changed my mind (the ship isn't sinking that fast) I would choose the glasses. You could start a fire, and use the metal or a sharp piece of broken lense as a knife. You could use the metal as makeshift nails too.

I'd most likely grab the knife. I'd like to take the matches but I'd probably screw that up somehow by wasting them or getting them wet. At least the knife would last longer and I could slit my wrists if I gave up all hope and was dying anyway.

that is really tough. its between the knife and the matches. the kife you can use to cut down trees and plants that you could eat or make a hut or soemthing or you could kill an animal for food using the knife. the matches you could use to start a fire, which could make a smoke singal that someone could see and maybe help you. however, you can start a fire without matches. so, i guess i would pick the knife

That;s a difficult one but a pair of glasses would help when searching for food,water and something to burn. The glasses could be used to start a fire by placing them in direct sunlight to burn a piece of wood to start a fire. I have used a bottle before to start burning some paper.

This is hard! My choices would be plant seeds, a radio, a first aid kit, bottle of water, and a bible. I can't choose between those!

I would have to chose the first aid kit. Most of them have scissors in them. Although not as sharp as a knife you could still sharpen them. so you would have something to cut with.
