I know this sounds horrible, but did anyone else get really annoyed with their pets after having a baby.Don't get me wrong, I still love my cats and dog, but sometimes I wish I didn't have them. Before anyone starts judging me, I'm not planning to give them away. Just wanted to know if anyone else has felt like this.

If you have a new or young baby, it's easy to get annoyed by a lot of things.

It'll get better, just act like you aren't annoyed and it will become habit after awhile again. Or, ask for some more help with them.

If you're trying to quit a few habits as well-- that's tough!

Good luck!!

I have 2 daughters 4 and 6, 4 male cats and lots of little critters. I have to say that they never annoyed me because they were my 'grounding points', when the babies were napping. They brought me a calm that no other human could posses. I would try and focus your energy while your kiddo is sleeping, and let the pets be your release. They are there for you, as you are for them. Thats why you have them in the first place hehe!
Parenting and post pardum depression and quitting smoking (im a smoker myself) is really rough. Balance out your goals, and try to not do everything at once. I tried that and totally failed.
Good Luck, parenting and pet ownership is a tough thing to balance.

It is normal, I do get annoyed of my dog at times. But I would never ever get rid of her. It is normal to be annoyed at times and specially after having a baby.
