Well, if you haven't realized it already, I'm referring to the philosopher/ancient writter, not the food. Haha. Anyways, I think the Bush Administration should read his work on the Idols? Does anyone else see them being fooled by the idol of the theater, cave, tribe, etc?

I'm refering to Francis Bacon, the English Philosopher... Not sure how this was confused with Plato, and his "The Allegory of the Cave..."

Are you referring to Plato's Cave?

If you are: you know the masses are fooled by the flickering images inside the cave; then you have completely missed the meaning of the metaphor.

Are you CRAZY?????? I see a clear connection between Iraq and Bacon. Iraq has oil. Oii is for frying. Bacon is yummy. Bacon needs frying. Fry, fry the bacon. Fry it with the oil. Yummy, yummy bacon. Eat all the bacon.
