So Desmond said that no matter what he did, Charlie is a gonner...how do you think he'll go???

My guess is if he has to die *though I hope Desmond is wrong for once*, it will be protecting Claire and baby Aaron from the Others.
Desmond said Charlie was supposed to have electrocuted saving Claire and also drowned saving Claire so apparently she is literally going to be the death of him. Also, we know how much the Others like children. My guess is they are going to try to kidnap Aaron *and maybe Claire again* and Charlie dies trying to save them. Tres romantic, no? ^_^

Charlie is gone. We've known for a long time now that a fan favorite would sacrifice himself for the good of the other Losties. Plus, a direct quote from Evangeline Lilly tells us that Dominic Monaghan's contract wasn't renewed when the others were. And she would know. "Why didn't he just shut the door from the side Desmond was on and then the two of them could have escaped using the scuba equipment?" I thought the same thing for about a moment then realized that the door probably only latches from the inside.

I don't think so.
Desmond is looking out for Charlie. Also, Charlie knows that the universe and fate is trying to kill him so he'll be looking out and will be more careful.
I really really hope that he doesn't die, I like Charlie a lot =P

Des saw it didn't he? He probably continue to save him and then one time miss and boom Charlie will be a gonner...wonder what he did? I didn't think he had a dui too? oh well it will be fun to watch and wait...

I really really don't want him to, but I know he will. The writers won't repeat any deaths, so he probably won't get shot or have a plane fall on him. I think he will commit suicide. I know that sounds horrible, but I can't think of any other way. Unless the monster gets him too.
