At the Indian lunch buffet---- I usually get the tandoori chicken, the palak paneer (spinach with cheese), dal (lentils), and the pureed eggplant. If they have butter chicken I will get that also. I usually skip the rice but I load up on the naan (indian bread)

At the sushi/seafood buffet....I get get the salmon sushi (fish and rice only, not the roll), spicy tuna roll, and the salmon skin roll.

At the Korean buffet....I get the kalbi (bbq beef ribs) and rice

At the Brazilian Churrasuria.....I eat until I drop from all the meat they serve!!!!!

I eat at buffets once in a while. I load up the plate to overflowing. If I go back for seconds, I'll put a few items on the plate. Usually the first load fills me up, especially with "Mediterranean" cuisine. With Chinese food I'm picky. I'll get the string beans, and take the peppers from the pepper steak, and add some veggies, and then mix with some General Tso's chicken over white rice... and one is usually enough.

People that go to buffets and get four helpings (and look like it) are eating too much. Those who weigh 600 lbs and need a cane to walk, and use two plates at a time for buffet, should just be banned out of principle.

In a common sit down eating place the place the wait team takes your order, some one prepares your beverages, salads/ appetizers, and your entre' the norm is between 10%-15% for a tip. In a buffet form eating place, the guy fairly in basic terms takes your grimy dishes off the table the wait team would not take your order, they do no longer make your beverages, they do no longer do lots of something different than sit down you down, Kinda like a rapid nutrition joint. So, in case you come back to a call to flow away a greenback or 2, relies upon on you. and in the event that they're on top of issues, and you on no account have grimy dishes around, via all ability flow away a sprint 3%-5% And Tipping is a city in China. And in all of the international places I even have been to the united states of a is the only the place information are taken via wait team.

I personally don't care for buffets. It is nice to have a variety of food but what you pay for a buffet is too much money. Unless you eat like a pig and go up 3 or 4 times, you are not getting your money's worth. Breakfast buffets are the most expensive. I like to eat two eggs, a serving of bacon, home fries and one English muffin and a cup of tea and maybe a class of orange juice. You can buy a breakfast like that anywhere for under $5.00. A buffet restaurant would charge at least $9.99 or more. I eat to live rather than live to eat.

Now, you don't want to seem like a pig or fat or anything so what you do is fill the plate up ( make sure nothing is overlapping is way to much of each food). You can also get a big portion of good healthy foods or a small portion of unhealthy foods, that is what i always do.

I like to mix and match, so I'll get a couple different kinds of meat, some salad, fruit, mashed potatoes, and dessert all at once and then just sort of nibble on everything. Also, if it is a buffet that has all-you-can-eat crab legs, you can bet I'll be there!!!!

A plate that a 6 year old would have. i doj't eat too much. Too much is when you look like a pig and your plate is piled.

I prefer the salads and fish and fruits. Or try a small bite of something I don't know.
And too much is when you have throw away food that's on your plate, especially if you are getting more later.

I usually put only seafood on my plate, shrimps, mussels and for dessert, 5 to 6 tiny Chocolate Eclairs or little Neapolitans.

hometown buffet!!
its a buffet so when you go eat all that you can just make sure that you don't go to buffets too often otherwise it'll show! oh and here's something to remember: it takes 30 minutes for your brain to tell your stomach that its full so eat slow and enjoy!
