Yes. If you grow it as it is, it will be (and remain) as downy fluff. You'll have to get into the routine of shaving though, one shave won't do it!
A lot of the work will be down to your body though- if it doesn't want to grow a moustache, no amount of shaving will work.
Over time (and shaving) the hairs will thicken and become more stubble-like.

No. It's a myth. You cant provoke hair folicals to grow quicker by trimming or shaving.
If that were true, by the time the average man was 50, he would be able to grow a full grown bushy beard within two days.
It's the strenght of the folical that counts and that only matures with age.
Thats why young lads only get a light downy growth to start with.
Guys with darker hair will be more noticable though.
It's the same for every man im afraid.

Nope. Your beard will grow as fast and when it wants. Shaving only removes the downy end of the whiskers as they first start to grow, so it only seems like your beard is darker and heavier.
Boys who try to grow beards and mustaches before the hair is really thick enough there usually look silly, like little boys trying to grow a beard. Keep your face shaved until the hair is really heavy enough there to support a "proper" mustache. It will be much more impressive that way.

No, that is an old wives tale. People assume that your hair grows in faster when you start shaving because in all truth it does, but not because you start shaving. You start shaving because your hair is starting to grow in faster. Shaving before your body is ready to start growing hair will not have an effect on when your facial hair will come in.

No it's not a good idea. Just give it time to grow. Because once u shave it it'll start to grow thick and all over, then you'll have to shave it every other day, just leave it how it is it'll grow!!
