couple details i was wondering about:
1where can i get one
2what is the...wattage(?)i need to get

Most luggage stores will carry them. The wattage is the same ( 220 )but the outlets are different. You may even check on line at Target/Walmart - usually you get a kit that will include an adapter for the UK and Europe

The adaptors only allow you to plug your electrical device into the outlet.

You'll need to verify that your devices are auto- or dual-voltage (100~220V (or 250V) or 110/220, respectively) , otherwise you'll blow the device's 110-120V transformer.

If you're staying in an international hotel (i.e., Hilton, Westin, Hyatt, Sofitel, etc.), they may have both voltages and outlets in the bathrooms near the light switches. Check the hotel's website and query it. Good Luck!
